In a short period, we have completed a total of several impactful campaigns, with many more to come. We are grateful for the unwavering support from our generous donors, without whom none of this would have been possible.
Our journey began on August 15, 2022, in the vibrant locale of Majiwada. In our first campaign, we distributed cooked meals to approximately 300 individuals in need. Witnessing the joy and gratitude on their faces ignited a passion within us to continue making a difference.
In October of the same year, we turned our attention to the Desire Society orphanage.
There, we distributed fresh fruits and important vitamin products, benefiting 35 children. These small gestures of kindness can have a significant impact on the growth and development of these young souls. Moving forward, our third campaign took place in Goregaon and Mira Bhayandar, where we distributed KFC meals to approximately 400 individuals. It was heartening to see the smiles and sense of satisfaction these meals brought to their faces.
As winter approached, we shifted our focus to Thane, distributing blankets to approximately 200 individuals in need. The relief and warmth these blankets provided during the cold season were immeasurable. With the arrival of Diwali, we continued our efforts, distributing sweets and ration to 500 individuals in Thane and Goregaon. It was a true celebration of light, unity, and humanity.
A devastating fire in Malad brought us to action once again. We provided daily necessities such as tarpaulins, bed sheets, mats, buckets, water, and biscuits to 900 affected individuals. Our mission is not only to provide immediate relief but also to stand by communities during times of crisis.
International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Goregaon. To empower women, we distributed menstrual hygiene kits to approximately 500 individuals, positively impacting their lives. The holy month of Ramadan allowed us to connect with the residents of Byculla Dagdi Chawl, where we distributed ration to around 100 individuals. This outreach was a celebration of the spirit of giving and compassion.
Throughout our journey, we have ensured that no one goes to sleep on an empty stomach. Our campaign to distribute cooked meals in a 10-kilometer radius of Thane reached approximately 1,000 individuals, providing nourishment and hope.
Committed to addressing the needs of every vulnerable community, we distributed ration to 110 blind families in Thane, Vasai, and Virar. We believe that everyone should have access to necessities, regardless of their circumstances. In Dharavi, we paid the fees of five deserving children, ensuring their education continues unhindered. Additionally, we distributed raincoats to approximately 100 individuals, aiding them in facing the monsoon with resilience.
On Independence Day, we organized cooked meal distributions for 500 individuals in Thane. It was a day full of patriotism and compassion as we aimed to bring smiles and unity to our community. In addition to our campaigns, we have actively provided support for over 100 children
suffering from various life-threatening diseases. By assisting financially with their medical treatment, we have saved hundreds of innocent lives.
We are immensely proud of the impact we have made in such a short time. However, our work is far from over. With our dedicated team and the generosity of our donors, we. look forward to continuing to expand our reach and making a difference in the lives of those in need.
