The monsoon has arrived with full force in Bandghar, Dahanu, District Palghar, Maharashtra, bringing heavy rainfall that has left many tribal families struggling to protect their homes.
Rainwater is pouring through damaged roofs, leaving families with no dry place to sleep. At the same time, the roof of the local municipality school is leaking badly, flooding classrooms where children should be learning safely.
Help To Cure Foundation is launching an emergency relief campaign to provide durable waterproof tarpaulins that will protect both homes and the village school throughout the rainy season.
