Mission of the Initiative: “Supporting 110 blind families in Vasai Virar by providing essential ration.”
Location: This initiative focuses on the Vasai-Virar region, where a community of blind families resides in impoverished conditions. Despite their inability to see, these individuals work tirelessly to make ends meet by singing songs in local trains, begging outside stations, or selling small items like chanas. It is our duty to offer a helping hand to these determined souls in their dark reality.
Description: We are excited to share our new initiative, “Ration Distribution: Illuminating Lives through Sustenance”, which aims to bring light into the lives of the blind families in Vasai-Virar. This project seeks to alleviate their struggles by providing essential food supplies that will sustain them for several days.
Our package includes vital food items such as “rice, oil, dal, sugar, spices, tea powder, atta, salt, onions, potatoes, and sweets”. By ensuring these families have
access to nutritious meals, we strive to improve their overall well-being.
