I am reaching out to you on behalf of Baby of Poonam, a premature infant fighting for her life. Born prematurely in just 6 months, Baby of Poonam is currently battling respiratory distress and weighs only 820 grams. Her father, Mr. Roshan, is a hardworking individual struggling to make ends meet. Mr. Roshan works in the private sector, while Ms. Poonam is a homemaker. They have no savings to fall back on, and there is no other earning member in the family to help meet the cost of the treatment.

Diagnosis: Extreme preterm (26 weeks)/ Extreme Low Birth Weight (820 grams), Respiratory distress
Previous Hospital: Transferred from Prime Criti care Hospital to Starlets Hospital on the 7th day after birth
Treatment: NICU admission, emergency surgery (exploratory laparotomy with ileostomy and colostomy), ventilatory support, multiple transfusions, antibiotics, and supportive care.
Estimated Cost: ₹8 Lakhs (for NICU stay, requiring at least 6 more weeks of NICU care)
