The baby is struggling to breathe normally. Because her lungs are weak, the rest of her tiny body is under extreme pressure, which is very dangerous for a newborn. She is currently in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) on Oxygen Support to survive.
She is receiving treatment at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel, under the care of Dr. Vinay Joshi. Doctors have advised that she must remain in the NICU for at least one month to recover.
