Urgent: A Preterm Baby Girl Fights for Life in the NICU – Your Support Can Save Her
Dear Supporter,
A fragile newborn baby girl is fighting for her life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her family is facing an overwhelming medical emergency and urgently needs our collective support.
The baby of Mr. Samadhan Popat Koli was delivered through an emergency Lower Segment Cesarean Section (LSCS) on 10 October 2026 at Suyog Hospital, Panchvati, Nashik.
Born prematurely and weighing just 1.4 kg, she was admitted in critical condition with severe respiratory distress and no initial spontaneous movement. She required immediate respiratory support and continues to need specialized neonatal care.
Under the supervision of Dr. Reena Rathi (Kalantri), the baby requires intensive NICU treatment, continuous oxygen management, diagnostic investigations, and essential medications to stabilize her condition and support her recovery.
The Family's Financial Hardship
The baby's father, Mr. Samadhan Popat Koli, works as a daily-wage labourer. His income depends entirely on the availability of manual work, making it irregular and barely sufficient to meet the family's basic needs.
The baby's mother is a homemaker caring for the family during this difficult time.
With no steady monthly income or substantial savings, the family has already exhausted its limited resources to manage the emergency delivery and initial hospital expenses. They cannot afford the high cost of continued NICU treatment without financial assistance.
The Urgent Medical Need
The estimated cost of the baby's critical hospitalization and treatment is ₹2,00,000 (Rupees Two Lakh Only).
- Intensive neonatal care in the NICU
- Respiratory support and oxygen management
- Diagnostic laboratory investigations
- Essential medications and supportive treatment
- Continued medical monitoring during recovery
Timely financial support is essential to help the family manage the cost of the specialized care their newborn daughter needs.
