Meet Baby Kavya Kacharu Hiwali, just 8 months old, who is currently battling a severe congenital heart condition that threatens her survival.
The Fight for Every Breath
Kavya has been diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease, specifically a Large Ostium Secundum ASD with a severe hole measuring 8.8mm x 11mm, causing a dangerous left-to-right shunt.
This means her heart is working overtime and struggling to pump blood correctly, putting her life and development at serious risk.
She is currently receiving treatment at KIMS Manavata Hospital, Nashik. Doctors have advised that her life depends on an immediate ASD Surgical Closure surgery.
