Appeal for Support: Premature Twin Baby Girls Fighting for Life
Respected Friends & Supporters,
Life gave the Shaikh family a blessing when Mrs. Gulnaj delivered two beautiful twin baby girls. The family was overjoyed, but their happiness quickly turned into heartbreak. Both babies were born prematurely at 33/34 weeks and are now fighting for survival in the NICU at Nimai’s Borneo Mother & Child Care Hospital, Thane.
- Both babies are on ventilators, battling Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), suspected sepsis, and shock
- Each weighs only 1.48 kg, making them extremely fragile
- Treatment is intensive and life-saving, but also highly expensive
- Father: Mr. Salman Shaikh, salesman at a tyre shop (₹1,80,000 annually)
- Mother: Homemaker, fully devoted to caring for her newborns
- The family has exhausted their savings and borrowed from relatives
The medical expenses are overwhelming, and the family is now helpless. Without immediate financial support, it will be extremely difficult for them to continue life-saving treatment for their daughters.
