Dear Supporters,
We are reaching out with a heartfelt plea to support Baby Shabnam MD Razi Qureshi, a precious 3-month-old girl who is currently battling a life-threatening condition at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai.
Patient Details
Baby Shabnam has been diagnosed with Intestinal Atresia, a congenital condition where part of the intestine is missing or blocked, preventing normal digestion and nutrient absorption. Her condition is further complicated by sepsis and enterocolitis, both of which are serious infections that require intensive care.
She has already undergone a major surgical procedure to repair the intestinal blockage and is now admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) under the expert care of Dr. Parag Karkera, a leading pediatric surgeon. Despite the successful surgery, her recovery demands prolonged NICU support, specialized medication, and nutritional therapy.
Family Background
Baby Shabnam is the daughter of Mr. MD Razi Abdul Bakilal Qureshi, a garment worker residing in Govandi, Mumbai. He earns a modest annual income of ₹1,20,000, barely enough to support his family. Her mother is a homemaker, fully devoted to caring for their child during this critical time.
The family has already exhausted their savings—₹1,25,000—to cover the initial treatment and surgery. They are now facing an uphill battle to raise an additional ₹1,50,000 required for continued NICU care and post-operative treatment.
How You Can Help
Your support can make a life-saving difference. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help Baby Shabnam receive the care she urgently needs. Your generosity will not only ease the financial burden on her family but also give this little girl a fighting chance at life.
